Yorkville Font – Examples of use:

As I said in the Favorite Typefaces – Yorkville post, I have been working on some graphics using this font. Above is the example of it’s use thus far.

In my eyes this font has such a professional sophistication when paired with certain design elements. I’m having a great time with this font right now, so I hope that you can enjoy it as well.

In all the posts that i’ve made about our “Disturb Us Lord” shirt i’m so surprised that I never once included the poem / writing that inspired it.

Yorkville has such a nice and modern feel to it. This font could easily be used on website headings, incorporated into branding or made into a solid focal point of typography projects. ‘Straight out of the box’ this font is very usable by any designer, the kearning is very nice by default and you can tell the designer put a lot of care into the letters.

I am currently working with this font for a project and i’m very excited to post it in my portfolio to show you how i’ve used it. I recommend downloading it, because you can not do it justice by looking at the picture above.

I hope you benefit from this font and carry it over into some of your projects.

What we’ve been watching: Avatar on BluRay

We just picked up Avatar on the release date last week, immediately watched it that night and another time the night after! The BluRay transfer is absolutely phenomenal for this movie and the movie itself is so good as well!! We’re not one’s for writing big reviews on movies / music (and never really try) but this is definitely a movie made for BluRay and had us very intrigued from beginning to end.

What we’ve been listening to: Secret and Whisper – Teenage Fantasy



This album is so solid – beginning to end!! I’ve followed this band since their first album and loved it….but this album surpasses any material they’ve ever produced. They have a post-hardcore(ish) style to their music, beautiful vocals, extraordinary lyrics and just an overall solid rock sound! There is honestly not a bad song on this album. Check them out on myspace to listen to them. I would say if you like any of the music on their player then you’ll fall in love with this album!
